You might notice that food is not on the list.  Thanks to Purina ONE's One Hope Program all of HALO's babies are receiving all the food they need!

By supplying us with these items that we purchase every day, you'll help us spend more of our money on medical care, which means we'll be able to treat even more dogs and cats who need that extra TLC to heal and find their new home!

Talk About a Bad Hair Day!

Meet Porter, a young Yorkie-Poo mix pup who was in bad shape when he arrived.  He has fine hair that tangles easily. He also likely lived outside.  When we got Porter from Animal Control, he was covered in knots and had sticks and thorns all over him-a sign of neglect.  The worst part was, someone had put a collar on him as a young pup but did not check it to ensure it wasn't getting too small for him.  His collar had grown in to the skin on his throat, causing a big wound all the way around his poor neck. 

Luckily, Porter came to HALO and we have fantastic support from you!  Porter received the spa treatment and medical attention he so badly needed and is now ready for a new family!
